If you have had a bad
experience or have had ineffective physical therapy, Hershey
Physical Therapy is better.
Today most Physical Therapy is provided by large regional
corporations, hospital owned clinics, or physician owned
practices. Business policy is implemented at corporate
headquarters where corporate objectives take precedence. All
too often, physical therapy seems like mass production. Overly
scheduled offices provide little opportunity for therapists to
really “hear their patients”. In many cases the patient will
have a different therapist at different sessions, the
“therapist of the day” likely unsure of what was done
previously. There is no time for hands on procedures or use of
adjunctive modalities. Too often PT is repetitious exercise
that just as easily could have been done at home.
